What are the benefits of Eggshellent?

Improves eggshell quality in commercial layers and breeders, reducing broken, cracked and hairline-cracked eggs.

Eggshellent Field Trial 1

A field trial was conducted in a commercial layer farm with 48 cages, four birds per cage. Eggshellent was used in the feed from the onset of lay to week 74 and week 90.

Egg numbers obtained during the laying period are shown below.

Using Eggshellent resulted in an additional 5 eggs per hen by week 74 and an additional 9 eggs
per hen by week 90 compared with the control group.

 

 

Eggshellent Field Trial 2

In another trial, 480 Lohman Brown layers (120 per group) received Eggshellent for 12 weeks. The results are shown below.
